Stucco
Conventional stucco system, which is a three-coat system, is stronger than EIFS but limited in detailing. Conventional stucco uses a mixture of Portland cement and lime mixed with sand and fibers. The mud is applied until it is 3/4" thick. A galvanized metal lath is used for reinforcing strength. The builder or homeowner has a choice of finish textures and colors.
